I am an independent consultant with over 30 years of experience, specialising in strategy, organisational development, DEI and change leadership. I work hand-in-hand with my clients to create workplaces that are effective, compassionate and full of life. At the heart of what I do is a belief in the power of human connection - it's this connection that drives real, lasting change.

commitment to better organisations

I’ve seen it all—commercial, consulting, non-profit. And if there’s one thing that unites these worlds, it’s this: nobody talks enough about power, and everybody is scrambling to figure out how to manage transitions.

In my time at CIPD, I explored how linking professionalism with ethics could actually do something for workplaces. It turns out, when people stop following the unspoken rules and start asking the big questions—like “who benefits from this?”—interesting things happen. These days, I help organisations untangle the knots they’ve found themselves in and confront the structural inequalities lurking beneath the surface.

Expertise

I’m passionate about the experience of work. The goal isn’t just to keep the machine running; it’s to build something better, something that challenges the status quo. I love to work with organisations brave enough to ask: What happens when we stop playing by the rules that have been set for us? What if we dismantle say the weight of 1000+ years of power imbalance and build something new?

At the heart of my work is an endless curiosity about power—who holds it, who’s excluded, and how we can shift the balance. I believe that by challenging these old systems, we open up opportunities for real change. Whether it’s dissecting power structures or reshaping culture, my mission is to help organizations embrace their potential and, in the process, make the world a little bit better. Because in the end, it’s not just about success—it’s about doing something meaningful. And frankly, that’s way more interesting.
